DAVID AND TAMELA MANN 25th wedding Anniversary
If you and your significant other made it through Valentine’s Day together, congrats! If not, better luck next time. Either way, everyone can stand to gain some insight on how to get it right by watching one of my favorite couples in love, David and Tamela Mann. In this 25th wedding anniversary special, the playful couple talks about how they met, renew their vowels, and even bust a few moves before Mrs. Mann rips the mic with “Take Me To The King”.

Snoop Lion/Dogg set to perform at Hal & Mal’s
Even though he’s now Snoop Lion, the name Snoop Dogg just feels ingrained. Especially when listening to his earlier music which is just what the folks here in Jackson will be doing when the artist performs live. The “tree” advocate who is currently working on new music will be in town to entertain fans with his classic hits. Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Friday Feb 7) and will be available at www.ardenland.net and all Ticketmaster outlets.

Jackson’s Dathan Thigpen & Holy Nation on The Haves and The Have Nots
Members of the Jackson based group Dathan Thigpen and Holy Nation caught some airtime last Tuesday on the OWN Network. The group was selected for a choir scene on Tyler Perry’s The Haves and The Have Nots and handpicked a few fellow Jacksonians to join them in their TV début.
