This coming Wednesday (August 6) Maxwell is bringing his 40-city Summer Soulstice tour to Thalia Mara Hall, in downtown Jackson.

The neo-soul crooner recently revealed to Rolling Stone magazine that he’s been working on music for his next album for the past three years. Given his track record, I’m sure it will be well worth the wait. Fans can expect the second part of the singer’s album trilogy blackSUMMERS’night before the end of this year.

If you’re planning to catch the Jackson concert the show starts at 8 p.m. and ticket prices range from  $52 to $83. In the meantime, get your Maxwell fix on with these videos. These are just six favorites tiding me over until the new stuff drops.
